Do you remember spending afternoons after school playing classic games with Sonic the Hedgehog? Those iconic Sega video games with our favorite blue hedgehog with super speed powers? Well, you can relive some of that childhood joy thanks to Sonic 3D Blast, which is an emulator for the game where Sonic has to save the world from a robot attack led by Doctor Robotnik, collecting rings and dodging traps along the way.
In Sonic 3D Blast, the fearsome Dr. Robotnik has returned to turn Sonic’s (and humanity’s) worst nightmares into reality. In this game, our hero will have to go to Flik to protect his friends and the source of his riches and power: the emeralds.
Sonic 3D Blast is a free game that comes with 14 different levels, with each level corresponding to a different mission. Plus, if you do a good job, you will get some bonus levels, too. Just keep in mind that this is a game that was created for a classic console from the early 1990s, so the graphics might seem outdated to someone who doesn’t know what they’re getting into. That being said, Sonic will always have a certain retro charm, and that does come through here.
